Zijn studio is meestal een eenvoudige lege muur waarbij een nabijgelegen raam licht over het onderwerp laat vallen.

As a photographer, Ibarra places greater emphasis on his ability to communicate with his model or subject rather than relying on high-end cameras or equipment. He works exclusively with professional models who help him bring his concepts to life. His lighting comes from whatever source is available at the moment—sunlight, candles, neon signs, or street lamps. His studio is often a simple blank wall, with light streaming in from a nearby window to illuminate the subject.
